Senegal Win Heavily Contested AFCON Final in Morocco Against the Hosts

In what will be a largely controversial AFCON hosted in Morocco, Senegal were eventual victors. The winners had initially walked off after the hosts were award a dubious penalty. This coming shortly after being denied a legitimate goal. The Lions walked back to the pitch on the guidance of legend Sadio Mane and an extra goal sealed the victory.

The tournament has sent the whole of Africa in a frenzy having supported Senegal and not the hosts. The hosts unfortunately received many favorable calls during this tournament. While extremely horrible behavior from fans and ball boys taking goalkeeper towels during games. During the final, the ball boys and some teammates in the Morocco camp were visibly physically fighting with Senegal reserve keeper for a towel. Disgraceful display to say the least.
