SAFA and Adidas Tie In New Deal Just in Time For 2026 World Cup Bafana Return

SAFA and Adidas get new deal that will see the German brand return as technical sponsors for the South African Football association from 2026. The deal which was long pending upon qualification to the showpiece to be held in North America next summer. The deal sees Le Coq Sportif lose out on the deal to be technical sponsor for the men’s team. This deal will be a multi-year deal, ensuring all associations including the female team and younger structures being sported by Adidas.

The German brand has been a long term sponsor for SAFA. A a dip in performances over the years has seen them looking else where with sales dropping drastically. With the World Cup on the horizon, sales will pick up as Bafana Fridays will surely be a thing. More corporate sponsors will also look to jump on the fan fare.
