Orlando Stadium Carries New Name Orlando Amstel Arena
In what marked the chairman Irvin Khoza’s 78th birthday, Orlando Stadium, the home of Soweto Giants Orlando Pirates was renamed. In their newly founded partnership with Amstel, the Buccaneers new home will be called Orlando Amstel Arena. This 5 year naming rights deal is a huge landmark deal, aiming to capture a larger market for Amstel within South Africa’s largest township and one of South Africa’s biggest soccer teams. This move will keep the name Amstel on people’s lips at least 15 games a year.
