iconic duo Murumba Pitch calls it after years creating magic together.
In a joint statement through lawyers from both sides the Duo announced the quits. The duo largely lead by the lead singer has been part of some of South Africa’s greatest hits with the lead singer taking over and embodying the duo.
A lot of fans have mentioned that they had always thought that the lead singer has been Murumba pitch. Murumba Pitch like Liquideep where there’s a singer and a DJ/producer have split and the singer walks away with the mantle. Zion couldn’t take the name but seems like with Murumba the lead singer stays with the brand and that might be because he feels like he “was” the duo.
The duo will split all assets and will largely be based on previous work and not new work but for what it’s worth, we’d give him a quarter of the singer keeps the brand.
The music business is rough and largely works on fake promises and resolutions but clearly the duo came prepared by having lawyers and joint statements.
