MTN Bushfire 2026 Opportunity for Artists Open Call

The Junction of Hum, Edition 19 of MTN Bushfire in the Kingdom of Eswatini on the 29th to the 31st of May 2026 has opened its call for up and coming artists to grace their various stages. Do you have what it takes to perform for the thousands of festival campers that visit Bushfire each year? then this opportunity is for you, with various sounds ringing across its many stages, each sound has a home.

The festival invites live performers of the highest calibre, who share the festival’s mission to celebrate creative expression while promoting social responsibility and inclusion, to send in their applications.

MTN Bushfire looks for a diversity of musical styles and genres. Rooted in Africa and packaged to the world, MTN Bushfire’s line-up has always embraced the eccentric and unearthed the eclectic, featuring a wholesome mix of Pan-African and international artists from across different genres who do more than simply entertain but also use their art as a powerful form of creative advocacy.

The festival’s various stages and platforms host a wide range of performances, including live music, DJs, site and roving performances, dance showcases, art exhibitions and installations, theatre, poetry, storytelling, puppetry, film, and much more.
